In the beginning; Before the Light
Night was day; And day was night

Supreme Creator; He had a plan
Sun, stars, and planets; Land, sea, and man

He said, "Let there be Light"
And there was light
Put stars up in the sky
To light the night

Fish in the ocean; Birds in the trees
Garden of Eden; Adam and Eve

Tree of knowledge; Forbidden fruit
Talking serpent; Didn't speak the truth

He said, "Woman take a bite"
"Your God won't mind"
She gave her man a try
No longer blind…

Original sinners; Lost paradise
Banned from Eden; Paid a heavy price
Trapped in torment; Without a key
Need the promised Savior; To set them free
